My Teaching Philosophy
The ability to listen deeply, coupled with great technique, is what leads us to true excellence. I encourage students to learn to listen to themselves and refine their practise habits accordingly. Whether it is recording yourself, or simply listening to yourself in the moment, listening and perceiving ourselves accurately is vital.
My role is to perceive you in ways you cannot see yourself, and guide you to technical ease and musical maturity. Whatever your goals are - be it an ABRSM exam, a recital, a conservatory audition, I believe that I can help you formulate a plan of action and consistent guidance that will achieve your goals.
